It looks like the Discovery Channel's "Alaska Week" is gonna start a week from today. That means the Mythbusters myth that they filmed here in Ketchikan is gonna air. I don't know if there are other myths in the episode, but you should all watch it to see a boat made of some unusual materials attempt to zoom around the Tongass Narrows. I won't spoil the results and tell you how the boat does, but I will say that the motor provided by Alaska Outboard (the business my Dad co-owns) didn't fail. If the Discovery website is to be trusted the episode is called "Alaska Special 2" and will be airing
April 15 at 9pm. You'll have to check what that translates to for your timezone. I know it means 8pm for me.

And now, hopefully, for some entertainment for me. I need some new podcasts to listen to. I'm gonna be going on vacation in a couple weeks, and I'll be having many hours to kill in airports. I think some podcasts would be a good addition to my time killing tools. My current favorite one is the SModcast. Other than that the only one I really listen to is Breaking the Panel, which I started listening to because Anthony is one of the co-hosts and continue to listen to because I enjoy it. Though I've found I much prefer to listen to it live instead of later. So any podcast suggestions would be welcomed.
